Die „Original“ ABU Cardinal 44 (grün), Made in Sweden, erschien im Napp och Nytt Katalog 1969 und blieb bis 1977. Bei diesem Modell handelt es sich um ein Rebuilt Modell, aus Japan ca.1992, von der Firma Olympic, mit denen hatte ABU eine Korporation!

Hier erkennt man gut, die Rolle ist neu und war noch nie montiert.

Auch hier sieht man den tadellosen Zustand, ich frage mich immer, was wohl die Gründe waren, warum man den Kurbelknauf, der Version I gewählt hat? Ich finde übrigens, er liegt besser in der Hand und sieht auch hübscher aus?

Here, too, one can see the impeccable condition. I always wonder what the reasons were for choosing the crank knob from Version I. Incidentally, I find that it fits better in the hand and looks nicer, too.

Diese Rolle hat die selbe Fußnr. wie das Jubiläums Modell 1990 und zwar 760301. Aber davor steht noch in Grossbuchstaben CM!

This reel bears the same foot number as the 1990 Anniversary Model, specifically, 760301, but preceded by the capital letters CM!

Die C-Clips sehen etwas anderst aus. Die Spulenachse hat keine zusätzliche Anlaufscheibe. Das Bremspaket hat 3 Bremsscheiben und eine dicke Reibscheibe in der Mitte. Das Bremspaket ist übrigens identisch, wie bei der Cardinal C4 Black, Baujahr 1987-1991. Der Rest ist ähnlich wie beim Serien Modell.

The C-clips look slightly different. The spool shaft doesn’t have an additional thrust washer. The brake assembly has three brake discs and a thick friction disc in the middle. The brake package is identical to that of the Cardinal C4 Black, model years 1987-1991. The rest is similar to the standard model.

Hier nochmal die geöffnete Rolle im Ganzen, und es fällt auf, auch diese Gehäuse sind Innen und Aussen gepulvert!
