Die ABU Cardinal 354, Built by Abu Sweden, wurde im Napp och Nytt Katalog 1982 vorgestellt und sie gab es nur ein Jahr lang.

Die Cardinal Modelle mit der 3 an erster Stelle, hatten eine ganz große Besonderheit, es wurden keine Petticoatspule verwendet, sondern die alte Form, der Cardinal 4, letzte Version! Außerdem waren diese Modelle leicht vereinfachte Modelle, vom Getriebe her. Und man konnte die Kurbel, nicht wahlweise auf beiden Seiten anbringen, was aber in meinen Augen ein großer Vorteil war, denn dadurch, hatte man nicht das Problem das sich die Kurbeln ständig lockerten, oder die zu dünne Kurbelachse sich verbog!

Hier sieht man deutlich, den Unterschied des Rotors der 54 und der 354. Natürlich gibt es auch ein Gewichtsunterschied, durch die völlig anderen Formen.

Der Rotor der Cardinal 54 + 154, wiegt 56gr.

Die Aufnahmen für Bügellager, Federn usw. sind identisch, auf beiden Seiten zwischen der 54 + 154 und der 354.

Von Hinten sieht man, das bei der 354 noch eine zusätzliche Versteifungen mehr angebracht wurde, als an der 54 und auch die Beschriftung, ist sehr ähnlich. Das spricht wohl dafür, das beide Rotoren, bei der selben Firma produziert wurden, anderst als bei der 355?

Da die Abmessungen der Spule, die der Cardinal 44 entsprechen. Kann man sich bei der 354, leicht mit der letzten Version der ABU Cardinal 4 Spule helfen!

Hier fällt auf, das die Spule der 354 nicht eine zusätzliche Lagerbuchse aus Messing bekommen hat, so wie bei der 355? Wahrscheinlich waren die Kräfte hier anderst verteilt ?
