Die ABU Cardinal 355, Built by Abu Sweden, wurde im Napp och Nytt Katalog 1982 vorgestellt und gab es nur ein Jahr lang.
Die Cardinal Modelle mit der 3 an erster Stelle, hatten eine ganz große Besonderheit, es wurde keine Petticoatspule verwendet, sondern die alte Form, ähnlich der Cardinal 44, aber im Durchmesser wie bei der Cardinal 55 + 155! Außerdem waren diese Modelle leicht vereinfachte Modelle, vom Getriebe her. Und man konnte die Kurbel, nicht wahlweise auf beiden Seiten anbringen, was in meinen Augen ein großer Vorteil war, denn dadurch, hatte man nicht das Problem das sich die Kurbel ständig lockerten, oder die zu dünne Kurbelachse sich verbog!
